KICK ON APP CAUSING A STIR
An app developed in Brisbane is taking party organisation to the next level!
The Kick On app allows you to create a party, then others can ask to join you.
Accepted guests then get a QR code to be scanned at entry.
Local designer Charlie Stewart says it's been developed in response to the fact people have nowhere to party, once lockout laws kick in.
He's now touring the States to promote the App, recruiting party ambassadors at colleges.
Child safety experts are definitely not in love with the app, saying it's a parent's worst nightmare, teaming kids immaturity with social media and real world dangers.
Using the app could land you in mega trouble with the Police too. In Queensland hosting a party using social media that then gets out of control can land you in major trouble.
There are 12 month prison terms, and fines of up to $12 000.
